It just struck me how freedom of speech and response is so closely connected to freedom of choice –

we all (should) have the freedom to refuse to listen to people when we feel like it, or at least the right to ignore them.

We should still have the right to say whatever we wish.                   Sometimes we just have to tell it to ourselves.
