I choose to be
open
with every thought
towards life itself
and the life that
I’ve got

Never to trust
brings boredom
and
loss
of opportunity
I prefer that what comes to me
is handled like a toss
from the universe
and not like a curse

I choose to be open
it’s all I can be
greeting the opportunities
that comes to me
do I always make it
no that’s for sure
but I struggle
to keep open that door
which leads to me
so that what wants to be
can take place
at it’s own pace

Allowing my precious time
to be in rhythm with the
divine
timing
I’m climbing
over the obstacles inside
try not to hide
but to face them

Yes – I choose to be open

Never to close a door
or go back to where I was
before
realizing that I can’t
do the latter
’cause I constantly change
so it doesn’t matter
if I run back
follow my track
into the past
it will blow me back with
a blast
towards a new experience
it’s life and it makes sense

And there I stand
my senses real
aware of who I am
and how I feel
as I choose to be open
I take in
what life brings
on it’s wings

Have to be ready
come what may
open I stay
no matter what
it is my way
